Blockreative Marketplace – Community Guidelines

These guidelines explain the standards expected from all users and creators on Blockreative Marketplace.

This document is not a legal agreement and does not replace the official Terms of Service. It is intended as a simplified guide to help creators and users understand the expectations for participating in the Blockreative community.

By using Blockreative Marketplace, you agree to follow these guidelines and the official Terms of Service.

If you remember nothing else, remember this:

Treat others with respect. Only upload content that you created or have permission to sell. Clearly explain what your product includes before users download or purchase it. Provide accurate descriptions, installation instructions, and previews. Do not upload harmful, illegal, or misleading content. Do not redirect users to buy or download the product outside Blockreative. Upload the actual files for your product directly to Blockreative. Avoid low-effort or copied content.

Following these simple principles will help maintain a healthy marketplace for everyone.

1. General Community Rules Be respectful

All users are expected to behave respectfully toward others.

The following behavior is not permitted:

Harassment or bullying Racism, sexism, hate speech, or discrimination Trolling, flaming, or aggressive behavior Impersonating another user or creator Appropriate Content

All content uploaded to Blockreative must be appropriate for a general audience.

This includes:

Profile pictures Banners Product thumbnails Product screenshots Product content

Content must not include explicit, sexual, or graphic material.

Illegal Content

Content that violates laws or promotes illegal activities is strictly prohibited.

This includes but is not limited to:

Pirated assets Stolen content Malware Exploits intended to damage servers 2. Product Ownership and Intellectual Property

All products uploaded to Blockreative must be original work created by the uploader.

You may only upload content if:

You created the asset yourself, or You have explicit permission from the original creator to distribute it.

The following is not allowed:

Re-uploading assets from other marketplaces Uploading leaked or pirated content Uploading assets taken from servers or repositories without permission

Creators are responsible for ensuring their products do not infringe copyright or intellectual property rights.

3. Product Quality Standards

Blockreative is a curated marketplace focused on quality content.

Products should include:

A clear description High-quality screenshots or previews A detailed list of features Installation instructions where necessary Accurate compatibility information

Low-effort products may be rejected or removed.

Examples of low-effort content include:

Assets with minimal work or detail Content copied from tutorials without modification Assets that provide little or no functionality or value Simple configurations relying mostly on default settings 4. Accurate Product Descriptions

Creators must clearly explain what users are downloading.

Every product page must include:

A clear English description A list of key features Compatibility information Required software or plugins (if applicable)

Descriptions should avoid:

Misleading claims Exaggerated features Hidden requirements

Users should fully understand the product before downloading or purchasing it.

5. Installation Instructions

When applicable, installation instructions must be included in the product description.

Examples:

Installation instructions are required for: Plugins requiring configuration Packs requiring setup Assets requiring additional plugins Installation instructions may not be required for: Simple schematic files Generic models or textures Single files that require no setup

When instructions are required, they must be clear and complete.

6. File Upload Rules

Creators must upload the actual files for their product directly to Blockreative.

The following practices are not allowed:

Uploading a file that only contains a link to another download Requiring users to visit another website to download the product Redirecting users to external marketplaces to purchase the product

External links may be used only for supplementary content, such as:

Documentation Wikis Image galleries Video demonstrations

However, the product itself must always be available on Blockreative.

7. Harmful or Malicious Content

Products must never intentionally harm servers, users, or systems.

Prohibited behavior includes:

Malware Backdoors Hidden code designed to harm servers Code that intentionally corrupts worlds or data Software designed to exploit servers or players

If an anti-piracy system is used, it must not damage servers or worlds.

Acceptable anti-piracy actions include:

Disabling features Displaying warning messages

Destructive actions are strictly prohibited.

8. Compatibility and Updates

Creators should ensure that products:

Work with the latest supported versions of relevant software Clearly indicate supported versions if compatibility is limited

Products that remain inactive or unmaintained for extended periods may be marked as inactive.

Inactive products may eventually have new purchases disabled, although existing buyers will retain access.

9. External Licensing Systems

Creators may use licensing systems to protect their products.

However:

Licensing systems must be clearly disclosed in the product description Moderators may request access to test the product if necessary Licensing systems must not harm or damage servers if misuse is detected 10. Marketplace Integrity

To maintain a fair marketplace:

Creators should not attempt to manipulate rankings or reviews Fake reviews or review manipulation is prohibited Misleading pricing practices are not allowed Spam products or duplicated listings may be removed

Creators should aim to provide real value to the community.

11. Chat and Community Interaction

When interacting with other users:

Be respectful and constructive Avoid spam or repeated messages Do not advertise unrelated services or products Avoid flooding discussions with irrelevant content

Advertising your product is allowed when relevant and transparent.

If you promote something you created, you should clearly disclose it.

12. Enforcement and Moderation

Blockreative reserves the right to moderate content to maintain the quality and safety of the platform.

Possible actions include:

Product removal Account warnings Temporary suspension Permanent account bans

These guidelines may be updated periodically to reflect improvements to the platform and community standards.
